Before I had chickens, I never really paid attention to bird behavior, now I seem to notice way more of it.

Brrrrr too cold for me!The Polar Blast has reached us. Wind, wind & more wind. Down to about 3 degrees. Our fire is raging. So grateful for a good fire & plenty of wood to stoke it!
Good morning everyone
Dig ups are a nasty business *shudder*
What about the flippin' drones! I hate them, buzzing around, snooping into the yard when all I'm doing is having a cuppa with the chooks! Drones are the one thing I would shoot out of the sky if I had a shotgun. I like my backyard privacy dammit
I use small pavers - dad left a big pile of them under the bottlebrush. So far, so good![]()
. That’s truly nuts... i can’t imagine having drones flying all round randomly, there was one here when there was a film crew for a tv episode called moosemeat and marmalade that featured the farm... something about goat hunting I think. But is drones ever started randomly showing up I do think we would start shooting them down. That’s just creepyHate 'em. We've had them hover in front of our bedroom windows looking in.Our eastern windows go floor to ceiling @ canopy height so that's just rude!

I find it's particularly apparent with things like coucal & pheasants 'cause they're not great fliers either.Me too. Now whenever I see birds walking around I see the similarity to my chickens!![]()
