Ribh's D'Coopage

Thanks, Bob. :hugs I'm a sucker for pretty but despite their looks all my girls are pretty good layers as well. I can't claim any credit for the looks of either the chickens or the sunrises but I do like to share with others who appreciate beautiful things.

Appreciate and enjoy them we do. Don't ever stop sharing them.

I have put old car tyres in my run, filled them with dirt and seed and covered them with wire for grazing frames. This morning I took the cover off one so they could scratch around.

Deana got extremely excited and possessive. You know in cartoons when the chicken pulls a worm out of the ground? That's just what it looked like, I thought she'd found some string at first. There were so many earth worms!

Pity I didn't have my camera with me. :idunno

I pity indeed. I don't like missing events like that. I feel like I need to share them all now, lol

Howdy Y'all!

This weekend I upgraded my phone to a Samsung Galaxy A20, and the picture quality is AMAZING!! Be prepared to be spammed with photos.

Today is Anna's first day of 3rd grade.

I also got some updated pictures of all my Chooks! Everyone is very happy with their runs and the ability to come and go as they please. The Silkies, still need the coop moved and a permanent run built, but this works for now.

If you look closely at the head of the white silkie, you will see her 3 week old peep. He's blue like Thunder, but I'm pretty sure mom is my Mille Fleur. The red and blue chick is from the memorial day hatch, and she is also the same cross.

Here's an updated picture of my layer flock. Only my buff's and 1 EE from this year are laying. I'm still waiting on everyone else.

Breeze is a very good cockerel. He keeps his distance from me, but if I need to handle him I can. He takes good care of his girls too.

Last but not least, the sunset from last night.
