Ribh's D'Coopage

Kris I know what you are talking about. I like being around other folks but not constantly. I need some time by myself to recharge. Was very, very introverted as a child for various reasons. I'm am much better than I used to be but, not 24/7. Honestly even wearing a smile for a long time is exhausting. My older sister who is very outgoing, says the same thing.
As a famous actress used to say, in character, "I vant to be alone."

So sorry I've been off the last couple days. Today, I got to say good bye to my uncle, who is much more like my elder brother. He's been fighting stomach cancer for a couple of years and it's finally won. I don't know if I have days, weeks or months left but I'm going to lose him regardless. Knowing this is the inevitable simply doesn't help.

:hugsI'm so sorry, Bob. It's never easy. I've done it both ways. My youngest brother died suddenly in a light aircraft crash; my dad went slowly over a couple of weeks. My brother was harder on my mum.

Your kids are beautiful.:love Thanks for posting.

Beautiful feather babies!
So sorry about your uncle. :hugsF*** Cancer. It is the nastiest thing out there, and I don’t know a single person who hasn’t been touched by a loss at its hand. Love and support :hugswe lost my paternal grandparents, my step mother, and Andrew’s mother to cancer, it is a nasty, nasty disease. Prayers for as peaceful a passing as possible, and love and comfort to you and your family:hugs

Thank you. It's starting to warm up round here ~ during the daytime anyways. :)
Ooooo, that’s always nice!
We are finally getting some rain so that cools things a bit... some of the gals are actually out in the rain! Sometimes I wonder if they are part duck ... the way they dig around in puddles and play in the rain...
