I have a funny anecdote from a couple of days ago, @Shadrach might be able to confirm the behaviour. I went looking for Angel and Bela and I could hear them in the henhouse. Angel was on the roost and Bela was in the nest! As I’m pretty certain he’s not secretly a girl (or gender fluid) despite his name, might he have escorted her to the nest and was checking it out for her? They were definitely not where I was expecting them to be!

Most roosters and some cockerels under the right circumstances will escort their hens when looking for nesting sites.

Happy Caturday everyone.
I sat down at my desk to pay bills and organize some documents for taxes.
This little love bug had other ideas.
Apparently my hand was in need of a thorough grooming and general gnawing on.
It is just as well I love him!
