What really makes me angry is no~one talks about the impact dogs have. On the island dogs hunted the wallabies & kangaroos until they all left. They swim across from Straddie now but they don't live on the island.

Just recently a church member had to put down her two [very large] dogs that hunted & killed one of her baby goats & she worried for her young child's safety.

A well trained dog is a joy but most people who own dogs are clueless & think the rest of us are as enamoured of their pests as they are. I'm not a dog lover & I'm tired of the cat hate while dogs get a free pass. Rant over. Still love you, Shad.

I missed Caturday but here is Freya.
She has discovered the pumpkin vine ~ great for playing hide & seek.​

Oh, I agree about the dogs. You may remember Ruffles go killed by two Huskies and they tried to kill a ewe. Further up the mountian the farmers were shooting any dog that wasn't on a lead on sight.

It's not the cats and dogs, it's the people who keep them, or rather don't.

Oh, yes, people are @ the root of the problem. I do my best to keep my cats either inside or in a contained area where they are no threat to anything.

Mine fortunately have plenty of mice to catch inside the house!

At this moment Katrientje was eating inside the coop. My neighbours cat was waiting her turn to get in for some chicken food.

These neighbours love their cats and keep them inside during the night.

Their vet tells them to give not much food for their health. But the cats obviously don’t agree and try to snitch a little extra whenever they have the chance.

I didn't choose it ~ obviously ~ but she was the Norse goddess whose chariot was drawn by 2 cats, Bygul and Trjegul. Perhaps your next main coon should have one of those names!
