Hey yall.... I’ve been here a year now ... I cannot believe it’s been a year!!! So crazy!

Happy belated BYC birthday!!!

Starting to feel a tad nervous... The first blankets should be starting to arrive shortly & I'm just finishing up the next lot. Hoping all the various postal systems have co~operated...

I’m bugging my Mother and Aunt in Law to go check my mail... Post office closes in an hour, and with the limited Trasportation options ATM I’m sort of stranded.

We've something like 51 fires burning out of control in our part of the state. Some are to the south in the hinterland. Some west in an area that is about out of all water as well. We have strong winds not helping but the fires aren't affecting us. It's just worrying as our fire season hasn't started yet & there are lots of warnings out.

Stay Safe, and work on the Evacuation Plan... even if it’s just a little dory full of cats and chickens and family until your Boy or another rescue pickup can get to you! Fire is one of those things that terrifies me.

Just to share ~ because I can... My 2nd grand~daughter arrived about 6.30 this morning by emergency cesarean. Her name is Arielle, which means warrior of God. We will meet her tomorrow while we are on the mainland.

Yay! Congratulations, and that is a beautiful name. Glad to hear Mom and Baby are both safe!

And I think I’m all caught up from my weekend absence. I’ll be sad for the loss of income come the end of the Market this September, but very glad for the break in work!

@Ribh As I need to make up for the lack of Italian sunsets, I think I may have gotten you a unique one Saturday night. I took this one while at an American college football game. What do you think?

The were 104,000 plus people at the game. Kind of a small crowd for Penn State.

The crowd kinda freaks me out but the sunset is lovely! Thank you for thinking of me.

I posted it last Monday I think, Bob ~ from memory anyway~ so it will be @ least another week before it gets to you. I don't know why it takes so long in this day & age but it does.

Yes, it’s beautiful, but wow so many people... kinda scary when you really think about it! Granted a few years ago I wouldn’t have batted an eye at it!

The small town of State College becomes the third largest city in the state of PA behind only Pittsburgh and Philadelphia on a game day. It is crazy. And you are right, that's a lot of people in one place!
