All ideas gratefully accepted. She was picking on Lottie originally. Lottie getting special treatment seemed to upset her but it has always seemed to be less about the food than the attention ~ which makes no real sense; not to me @ any rate. Favorelles are a people chicken but she's a X & her sister is a wonderful girl. The perfect chook in my book: calm, friendly, good layer, gets on with everybody, easily handled but a chook who knows she's a chook & quite happy about it & her place in the flock. Suyin just seems unhappy with everybody & everything unless I have her ~ which is madness.Nothing about the behavior comes right to mind but I'm going to canoodle on it. If something comes to me I'll suggest it. Don't be afraid to separate her for her own good. Odd behavior. Something has upset her.
Oh, Nancy, do you really think so? That does not work for me! She is going to have to get over it!Sounds like she is jealous about sharing you.
As we move into summer our sunrises are a little more to the south & any colour streams through the trees.View attachment 1918558
I am still so excited by this beautiful blue egg! Can’t wait for the other two to start!

Don't get me started, I love my town
It's the one Australian capital city named after a woman, Queen Adelaide, and it's traditional custodians are the Kaurna people, many of whom survive, thrive and perpetuate cultural traditions. There are long beaches, hills, wineries, seafood, a slower pace than a big city and friendly people. The cost of living is quite low by Australian standards and the housing is affordable. Loads of parks, quite good public hospitals and public transport. It's dry though, and it gets rather hot in summer.
It rained today, finally. Everything is dormant. The girls afte having trouble finding food while free ranging. That rain led to this sunset.

What is "17"? Is it a type of chook food?
