Ribh's D'Coopage

We just riot over hockey here... the last two times our team has made it to the finals in the playoffs, which is pretty pathetic when you think about it. So many things more important going on in the world and here we riot over a sporting event? It’s sad. Fuel and independence I can understand... especially now that we are so reliant on fossil fuels to get through winter. People shouldn’t be in a place where they need to riot over these things. :fl For everyone’s safety.

I've been saying that since last Christmas.:D
It seems like I've had non stop feathered guests all year.:hmm
I brush and mop the floor nightly but the walls need a wash. I've got blood spatters from swatting mosquitoes.
It's not just I hate housework. We run 2 home businesses out of this place & the kids keep *storing* stuff here. There's really nowhere to put it & it drives me crazy but 1 is in Chile & 2 are @ sea. The last time I did a chuck out the child concerned had a massive meltdown but if you haven't even seen it in 10 years....do you really need it?

I guess they do! Mine wanted out today until the realized it was raining. Then they went back in. Of course just like children it was in and out, in and out.
:lau
I let mine out & they all huddled under the tiny prefab in the rain. If they stay in the coop area they have a whole dry sandpit to enjoy. Nuts!

Thank you. They no longer cover international news here. It appears that we are now totally self obsessed.
We're not getting much about it here either, Bob, but the child [she's 30 BTW ] sent me pics of the army camped outside her apartment. Her organisation has their workers in lockdown & are keeping in contact through their phones. There is terrible financial inequality in Chile. The rioters have a point but what they are doing is not helpful.

Wow, that would be scary. I hope everything turns out ok.

The worry is civil war as the unrest spreads. It is a *wait & see* situation @ present but if necessary ODs organisation will evacuate its workers & their insurance will pay for that. However the shops & banks are now closed & the metro has mostly been burnt so other things now come into play.

It's sounding very serious, but at least her company is being realistic and trying to keep their people safe. Hope it all works out Ribh

I'm getting concerned for Deana (4 years old) again. She laid her last egg three days ago and when she was last in the nesting box 2 days ago she just laid albumen. No yolk, no shell, nothing else.
She seemed somewhat subdued this morning although her comb colour is still good. She has a bit of a dirty bottom. I haven't had a chance to examine her closely but I'm hoping to do an internal check and a warm bath tomorrow.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to look for or to give her? Are there chicken multivitamins?
