Ribh, what's scurfing? I've got the part about it being in the wake of a boat but that's all I got.

I'm sorry, MJ. It's just being towed behind a boat on a board. You stand upright & basically surf the wake. My lot used to do it behind a tinnie in the bay.

How do I know our summer has arrived?
1: the girls were sent back into their coop early & fed before the storm broke & dumped a pile of rain & hail over the top of us.
2: They are spreading out on the roosts, wings 1/2 spread, for air circulation.​

The other half of the girls had the other end of the roosts. I had to hoy Lavender out of a nesting box & I have shoved her out of the coop this morning too but it is a lot cooler this morning & the wind is cold. Hoping this will cool Lavender's hormones considerably!

It's been a good weekend. Got 16 pints of black beans jarred up and in the cooker now. Turkey rub is made and so is the hot cocoa mix.

Howdy Y'all!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Things have been crazy lately. I saw a neurologist on Friday and they have a strong feeling that I likely have Multiple Sclerosis as well. I need to go for a MRI of the brain and neck. I also need an EEG to make sure I'm not having any seizures. I don't think that I am, but it is good to know for sure, as there are many types of seizures.

On the plus side my girls have started up again!

Last night for dinner, I made Chicken Fried Steak and needed eggs for my coating. They were so yellow it was truly amazing! The leftover egg was then scrambled and made a nice treat for everyone right before bed.
