I must be very lucky, none of my girls have ever been mean while broody. They go all screeching pancake on me but never bite at me.

Even my roos are very personable. The only one I'm having any sorts of issues with is BG, the one I hatched out this spring, but he just needs manors and we're working on that.

My girls aren't mean, just persistent.

While i was away today we had a massive storm.
My Frizzle has lost her frizzle.
Apparently no~one took shelter in the coop.​

Suyin is pretty damp around the edges too.​

It's cooled off but thank goodness it's not freezing.​

They might go out again this weekend depending on the weather. We don't have a large freezer so we'd have no place to put much more. They both can get bucks yet, but I don't know that they will.

I will gladly store some for you if they want to go get a trophy rack. I promise it won't go to waste.

Fluff is good ~ but Soda isn't fluffy. She's *meaty* If I want fluff, that would be my Frizzle.

Is it proper to call a lady "meaty"? I feel like that would get me slapped but want to be sure.

I bet they loved it. Mine sometimes stay out in the rain and get soaked. It can be a nice cool down for them. Daisy, the greatest hen ever, used to look so pathetic when wet.

@Ribh It's here!!! Thank you so much!! I've just started to read again, I find it's easier to do books then my phone, so it will be used often. I can also say I have never received a Christmas card with a Kangaroo on it. That will be a keeper for sure.

Rich decided to also give me an early Christmas present. He said he saw this and knew I had to have it!!

It has chooks on it!!! I was so excited when I saw it. He even got the matching wallet to go with it. This is extra special because we don't exchange gifts with each other, it's all for the kids. He said he knew it would cheer me up and boy did it ever!!
