@Shadrach congratulations on the new chicks!!
May I ask, do you provide special chick food or leave it to nature?

Apparently the frequency of a cat's purr is one that promotes healing. I have 4 cats and their purrs are definitely soothing for any ailments - physical and psychological. Got to love them!
When my lads get around to putting my steps back in down to the water I am going to try giving my girls some free range time on the beach. That's if I can herd them in the right direction...? And sorta keep them there. I imagine it's a very exciting place for chickens but we get wallabies as well as snakes & lizard's down there.Lovely as usual Ribh. You know I'm a bit jealous right?
Thank you Isabel, it's delightful!I care anyone needs healing, my old girl Isabel sends a purr you can reuse!

I like Canadians.
It seems I particularly like Canadians who live on islands.
Yesterday, being a mainland day, I picked up yarn. This is for my very 1st Canadian internet friend. We *met* as homeschoolers & have watched each others kids grow up. This is for her daughter's 2nd baby.

I don't think they'll stray too far from home, but if you're really worried even a fence of cardboard will keep them in one spot. When my lads get around to putting my steps back in down to the water I am going to try giving my girls some free range time on the beach. I like it too, Bob. Plus it's easy & fast. My friend is on PEI so it will be going island to island! It is beautiful! I love that stitch.
