Any major fuss in the evening and tribes 1 and 3 head for the trees.
I used to have a couple of girls who did that. Used to drive me to distraction.

That sounds emotionally and physically exhausting. Take it easy for a while Ribh and get lots of time communing with your girls.

Hope you’re feeling better soon, Dr’s are a necessary evil sometimes, and here when you find a good one, you need to keep them. And, it sounds like you have a good one!

It is 30C. No breeze. 64% humidity.
The girls are digging big holes in the wetest, shadiests spots in the run.
Under the ficus is a favourite.​

Thanks for the sympathy everyone. My doctor thinks I am very funny. Luckily we both have a good sense of humour & I can tease him about how much he enjoys cutting bits out of me.

Sounds like an awful thing to go through, but a necessary evil and I'm glad you have a good rapport with your doctor so much better than stiff formality.

With our fire ban temporarily lifted we are taking full advantage burning off all the house timber.
So far it's taken 3 full days & we are still going.

The girls are pretty cool about the fire going ~ though last night they seemed reluctant to roost with all that orange glow & smoke about.

Sounds like an awful thing to go through, but a necessary evil and I'm glad you have a good rapport with your doctor so much better than stiff formality.

He used to be the island doctor. I think it was a new to Australia thing, so when he moved his practice to the mainland we followed him as the island doctors have been dodgy @ best.

We've been waiting on them lifting so we could burn & now we are getting @ least some of our summer storms we are taking full advantage. I might complain about our heat but I adore getting summer rain.
