Ribh's D'Coopage

Lesson learned: next time there's a morning racket, don't let the chickens out
Oh, gosh! Too, too scary! Yep. Always pay attention when there's a racket. Here it's usually a monitor lizard ~ but they like chicken too. :(

We have been busy. Busier than is probably healthy for us but them's the breaks. The girl cancelled on Friday so I organised to catch up with her briefly yesterday. I passed on the baby blanket & we chose wool for my next project: an afghan for a friend of hers. I am using about the biggest size hook there is for this one & feel terribly clumsy. I have broad but not massively big hands & combined with thick wool & a large hook my co~ordination is deserting me. Then on to pick up plants for John & home again, home again jiggetty~trot because the next lad was landing on our doorstep & as the rain is raining all around he promptly began taking apart the bathroom.

Meanwhile I let my anxious girls out & rounded up the eggs. They did me proud but who laid the monster?

Ok, my Favorelles are big girls but that is insane!

Sunday night, before all the rain fell out of the sky, we had a lovely reflected sunset ~ nothing on Bob's beauty but our very own.:)

You make me want to start up crocheting again! But there just isn’t the space for that right now... the trailer is filled to bursting with us and the cats, and having my mom up for dinner nightly.

I feel sorry for the poor chicken who laid that monster egg, that must have taken quite the effort!

Crocheting is my winter *activity*. I rarely watch t.v & can't read @ night. I'm saving up for some Tunisian hooks just so I can drive myself crazy.:lau

I feel sorry for that hen too. But the way those Favorelles eat I'm surprise it wasn't larger! Piggy~woodlers.

I was over optimistic & put in a veggie garden in autumn. IT zoomed along for the first 6 weeks & then the inevitable happened & many, many things simply curled up their toes & gave up the ghost ~ but not the tomatoes. They are babies but we have tomatoes!:lau
