This picture was taken on the evening one of my best friends was laid to rest. He was killed by a hit and run driver 3 days before Christmas. His funeral was the day after Christmas. This is looking down the street from my house toward the church where his services were held.

Well, she would be most welcome! We've had Chileans, South Africans & our DIL is Anglo~Indian so we tend to have an international flavour.

I'm not sure. I have a fly thiny hanging up. Not sure how well that works. Not really game to look but probably time to change it. And while the mozzies were really bad @ the end of summer I chatted with our produce store. I would have to check what they recommended but it's a spray the whole coop with it product & deals with lice & mites as well. So far it has been reasonably effective but summer will tell. I use it each time I clean the coop ~ so several times a week. I clean every 2~3 days.

We have mosquitoes SO bad too.. I do not see my gals eating them ever.. what has helped with them inside the coop where they sleep is the sand.. they don’t have anywhere to hide in the sand.. they are still there but not as many..

Ours go up high, & hide in the rafters & joists & roof joins. I loathe & abhorre mozzies.

My Amazon order came in .... I ordered egg cartons and labels and my new egg tray holder... the bantam eggs have to go in the bottom as they will fall through..
