Oh I would have more if I could! lol I still have a ton of horse decor. My husband and I are blending our 2 families and money is beyond tight, so my pickings are few and far between.
I hear ya!.... and I LOVE horses too :love... my girls room was FULL of that until we toned it down..

I had horses for almost 20 years. My 2 were seniors, one was 29 and one was over 25 at least. They died 6 weeks apart. I got another one after that, but it wasn't the same.

I sold her to a friend, but the friend didn't follow my advice and ruined her. Now she's buddy and barn sour. She's trying to unload her for 1000.00, but I doubt she'll get that much.

Aaww, that stinks!! And you are so lucky to have horses and have them that old as well! Always wanted but never worked out.. now I have chickens and I am complete :D... but the girl is still determined!!

So how many altogether & how old. We had 5 ranging over 13 years so I understand larger size families...;)

I have 1 daughter, Anna, she just turned 9. Rich, DH, has 1 daughter, Morgan, she'll be 12 next month. He also has a son, Mason, who is 9.

My husband, Rich is 17 years older then me, but I've known him since I was 18, which is 19 years ago. We kept in touch here and there as friends, we each got married, had kids, and got divorced. I ran into him one day at work and gave him my phone number after jumping over the counter to hug him.

We went out May 28, 2017 and we've been together ever since.

I does suck, Daisy is a wonderful horse, but she has some issues. She's a spotted saddle horse so she's half Tennessee Walker and half Saddlebred. She's a bit hot headed, but once you show her who's boss she's fine.

That's a pretty cool story. :)

I had that happen to me once and I almost got away. I was stopped and saw them coming too fast. I put the car in gear and tried to get onto the shoulder. I almost made it but they clipped my back end and threw me into a ditch. The only time I have ever experienced an air bag going off. It actually gave me chemical burns on my face. This was a circa 1991 air bag.

Like you I managed to protect everyone else in line by throwing them to the left when they hit me. We were all too close to each other when stopped. I always leave more space now.

Great driving on your part. So sorry you are paying the price for others not paying attention.

Actually, I think maybe your crash was worse than mine @BY Bob because my car's airbags didn't even go off. Those burns sounds utterly awful, did it take a long time to recuperate?

I was thinking about this ~ 3rd person is mandatory. He must have that @ least unless he was unlicensed & unregistered as well.

You're right @Ribh , if I've got any injuries, the costs are covered. But I still want to see if he's got insurance covering the damage to my car.

Had the worst experience of my driving life with a teenager. I had YD with me & was driving my 1st daughter's bomb on the mainland ~ thank goodness it wasn't an expensive car! We'd just pulled out of a Bunnings car spot [like Home Depot? ~ anyway a hardward/building supplies place], always hugely congested, & had stopped to put on our seat belts when this kid reversed fast out of her parking spot & rammed our rear end. She climbed out & abused us. Obviously she was driving mummy & daddy'd brand new, very expensive car & needed us to take the fall for her carelessness. She kept ringing the house for weeks & abusing whoever she got on the phone ~ until hubby intervened. He's very quiet but he let her know in no uncertain terms she was punching way above her weight!

I'm a careful driver but not overly confident so this really rattled me & I am so paranoid on the road God almost always gives me space all around me. It is so obvious both my girls are insanely jealous of how I drive in this little bubble no matter how much traffic there is. YD would say it's to protect all the other drivers on the road! :lau

Strange how some people are too scared (or bullying) to even own their mistakes. The guy who ran into me yesterday didn't even say sorry. I'd have thought "I'm so sorry" would be the first thing out of his mouth.
