Ribh's D'Coopage

One of today's visitors: a drongo. they are superb mimics & great clowns. One of my very favourite birds!

And I finished my very first Tunisian piece. :( It is functional ~ about the best that can be said for it. I had a seniors moment about 1/2way & did something really wacky with the pattern which I didn't catch until it was much to late to do anything about it. I put a binding round the edge & an edging because the curl is unbelievable! No doubt I will improve with practice....lots of practice...:lau

I'm not educated enough to know how it's wrong. It looks great to me. What will you use it for?

Small hand towel. It requires a button to hold it on the rail under the bathroom sink. :)

This weekend my wonderful husband and myself made a completely enclosed chicken run. It is currently 14 X 14. We want to add another 14 X 14 square to it, but that has to wait a bit until we gather up more funds.

My silkies will also get an enclosed run. @BY Bob was kind enough to meet up with me and give me some left over construction fencing and that will be used for the runs as well.

Plus a nice picture of my Blue Plymouth Rock cockerel, Breeze!

That came out pretty nice. Good job.

And I spent 30 quality minutes with the chookies :)
My girls got short shift yesterday. :( I'd let them out & was sitting peacefully crocheting & they were chatting away when a visitor arrived ~ & not one I was thrilled to see. I sent her packing when the number of girls out of the run exceeded those in it!:lau Naughty chookies! Going to start doing something about that this week! Then I can consider chicken addition!

I'll gladly rent him out!! However I must accompany him to keep him in line. Then you get your new run and I get my dream of seeing Australia. :fl
