I don't know how I'll go trying to post video but I can post a couple of wider shots of parts of the garden if you like.

I love gardens! It is something of a hereditary obsession. My aunt wrote an entire book about her garden.

So a black bear was roaming around my town about 2 hours ago. This was only 3 blocks from my house. Thankfully all animals (cats and chickens) are safe and accounted for.

Awwwww, he’s so cute! I grew up in North Vancouver, so semi-urban black bears were pretty common. Stay sensible and safe, they usually aren’t too much of a problem...

My dad has one that visits the old homestead at least once a month. My mom is terrified of it. So are my dad's bird feeders.

Last summer we had a young black bear around our place for a few days. One night Rich was out having a smoke and the bear was in the driveway. The bear had no idea Rich was outside, so Rich sneaks over closer to it, in his deep voice he goes "boo!" and the bear took off running so fast he tripped. No signs of him after that.

I am a firm believer in let nature be. I try hard to to intervene unless needed. I also tend to not kill snakes, bugs, and the such unless necessary.
