Ribh's D'Coopage

My MIL used to feed them until they had to go away for a few weeks. They started *attacking* them when they got back by dropping quite large sticks on their roof & heads & chewing on their wood....so...nope. I won't feed them. The bloke down the road does & we've all warned him. :( On the other hand we also get Black Cockatoos & those are cool.

 Those ingrates!:old

OOOH, post before and after photos of your native hedge Ribh!

Well, I suppose we'll have to wait a few years for the "after" photos :hmm
Our RSL actually did what I had in mind. I'll see if I can remember to take a photo. I started then the builders crashed all over everything... Very disheartening. :(

Oh, and here is a photo from Dec 18 taken from the same spot as the one looking toward the dead grevillea and chook run but looking to the left. Just for you Ribh :).

Everything looks a lot more ragged and brown now what with winter and water restrictions. :hit

And that concludes the virtual tour of the back yard!
That is lovely! So glad you don't have a Hills hoist. Such space wasters!!!

I just remembered my camellias Ribh.

I expect you can't grow them where you are.
Camellias do quite well up here. My MIL [who lived next door] grew monster ones & my mum [on the Sunshine coast] does well with hers.
