We never notice this township during the day but @ night their lights vie with the flashing channel markers ~ & yes it is as cold & windy as it looks!​

Don't get me started, I love my town :love

It's the one Australian capital city named after a woman, Queen Adelaide, and it's traditional custodians are the Kaurna people, many of whom survive, thrive and perpetuate cultural traditions. There are long beaches, hills, wineries, seafood, a slower pace than a big city and friendly people. The cost of living is quite low by Australian standards and the housing is affordable. Loads of parks, quite good public hospitals and public transport. It's dry though, and it gets rather hot in summer.

That sounds absolutely lovely! I think it's time for me to do some more research on Australia. I know there is lots to learn, and I love learning!

You know my friend is gifting me a stray kitty, she needs a name perhaps I'll name her Adelaide. I usually name my female animals after flowers, I've had Lily, Daisy, and Marigold. Perhaps I'll break with tradition...
