Feeling Pleased With Myself.
I finished my corner to corner rug this morning.
It took a while. I ran out of wool & then the decrease kept muddling me because it just looked wrong!
I rather like this one & it is nice & warm too.​

I admit I'm not the full quid first thing in the morning ~ & for some time after but this morning did not start well. I pottered downstairs with my eyes pretty much glued shut, washed my eyes @ the kitchen sink, filled the cat bowls, found my coffee mug & almost stepped on a rat! A very dead, very large rat.
OK, boys I'm pleased you caught it & disposed of it but leaving it round for your unsuspecting human is not on. Hoping my day now improves...

I'm glad it was 'alomst stepped on'and not 'stepped on' but it's not a nice way to start the day

Yay for the mighty hunters! I’d rather have to dispose of the presents than listen to the scrabbling of the rodents... even though I’m one of those awful catch and release people when it comes to mice in buckets! I just can’t bring myself to drown or poison them, but cats and snap traps are ok in my book. But yes, avoid stepping on them!

It was a good day. The rain stopped long enough to get the feed loaded and covered. Then we had breakfast instead, but it was nice. We ended up watching "Hellboy" and "a score to settle."

Woke up to pouring rain this morning. What a difference a few hours make!!

@CrazyChookChookLady So pretty. We don't get colours like that ~ ever. Further south some stretches of highway have deciduous trees planted as a memorial to the fallen of both World Wars.
