Good evening folks I've only had one case of lice/mites here and I was too late. I treated everyone, even though only the one bird had them. Makes me wonder how only one can get them?

Be careful. Don't over treat. The bugs cam become resistant over time.

What @BY Bob says. I actually wouldn't if I were you. They've just seen a vet ~ an avian vet @ that. If you are not seeing anything to make you suspicious your hens are probably fine. You don't need these things resistant if there ever comes a time when you need to do it.

I do spray my coop regularly ~ which is probably why they haven't spread to every chook I own. Maybe ask your produce store people or breeder if you have one available & see what the consensus is...?
