Glad it's over...John's birthday is Boxing Day so we have been swamped with people & phone calls ~ all quite lovely but migraine making so far as I'm concerned. I do much better when things are quiet & calm.

So lovely after months & months of dry even though the drought is not even close to being broken & the rest of the country is still burning.
The girls are loving the slightly cooler weather & some salad scraps this morning.

23.4mm Christmas Day~ nothing in the grand scheme of things but sooo much better than nothing @ all ~ which is what we've had for months & months.
A couple of nice storms & overnight since then so it will be slightly more overall. Such a relief. Now if it would just rain over those fires...
