Ribh's D'Coopage

We sit on clay & ironstone. It sets like cement in summer. The heat is a killer. I lost my 1st rescues during the summer. They just couldn't acclimatise but my present girls know how to keep cool. Their run has enormous holes where they have dug down to keep cool.
You've both made me grateful that my place is on sand. It's always diggable for the hens, although it does get very hot underfoot.

I'm having to clean this one twice a week now. Ten roost in there. All one family.

So do I. I would love a kitten. Wife says no more until Isabel moves on. Frankly Isabel doesn't move at all anymore, she's 17, so that might be a while! :gig

Wow.. she’s an old lady... and she is really pretty :love

Oh she looks like such a love!

She is tiny and cuddly with the loudest purr. Loves to go under blankets and slide her head out with her body covered. She will sit like that for hours.
