Ribh's D'Coopage

Maybe it’s more a I taste my human with the cats? But with the chicken girls think of it more like an after s** cigarette cliche.

Overall I am now feeling much less offended by my furry and feathered friends reaction to me!

Morrigu.
She may not be a shining example of what a silver Campine should look like but she has that lovely upright stance & dark eye. She also has very blue ear lobes. Not all of them have that.

She is gorgeous.

Lottie spent most of today with the wyandottes & campines, inside the coop & out of the wet.
The only one of my older girls with major issues with the newbies is Suyin. *sigh* No surprises there.

Beautiful ladies!

The middle of the middle roost for everyone tonight except Medh, who is taking a turn on the top roost. So far all the Campines & 1 Aracauna have managed a lone turn. The Wyandottes haven't attempted it.

I have until June 2021 to arrange a chicken sitter for a weekend wedding,

Hint , Hint, people. Who is going to step up and help @Kris5902 out? Free vacation on an island. Come on now. There will even be a house to stay in (she hopes) with lots of books to read.

Who is going to step up!

I’ve been to Steve Irwin’s zoo a couple of years ago. Mum told me she saw some kid poking a bloody blue ring octopus!!!!! Where the heck was that kids parents?! It was getting angry. I have been stung by a blue bottle but iragangie are DANGEROUS, I heard some kid died from not wearing a wet suit when he went swimming in North QLD.
We've had blue ringed octopus swarming all over our kitchen ~the man was oyster farming & they hid among the shells. My brother used to keep them in a salt water tank. They aren't necessarily lethal but a tourist killed his best mate by lobbing one at his back. He had no idea!
