I have had the best weekend in a long time!! The pain in the butt neighbors are MOVING!!! They listed their house for sale and all the kids cheered when they saw the sign out front!!!

Mason turned 10 on the 15th, of course he was with his mother (she won't share), so we celebrated his birthday this weekend. Rich and him went out to spend some guys time together and pick out his present.

They can back with a BB gun. Mason was so excited. Him and Rich practiced all weekend and Mason is a very good shot!

We did a little spring cleaning of the coops as well. My silkie broodies still have 14 eggs between them, they are co-siting again. Plus the 8 eggs in the incubator, they are on lockdown and are at 21 days on Wednesday the 26th.

I did get some very nice pictures this weekend as well.

That sounds like a positive experience, albeit sad and maybe a little too real for many... and a very sensible choice. If you don’t mind my asking, about how old is your daughter?


And this is why I haven’t seen my friends in over 2 years! I have until June 2021 to arrange a chicken sitter for a weekend wedding, because gosh darn it, I practically adopted the boy at 15, and he’s been engaged for two years (our last outing to see friends and pre-chickens!) of course by them there will be a proper place to sleep, so that should help...

This one, the eldest is 33.

Someone has a sprayed bum to stop the feather picking. One bum & one rump.
Waiting on them both growing their feathers back.

What do spray with to discourage feather picking Ribh?

I'm pretty sure that the feather picking culprit on Alice is Alice herself! The feathers are now being picked away all around where I sprayed with Cetigren

Feed looks fine. You could try a bit of cooked meat or fish daily and see if that helps.
