I love reading the antics of your birds, mine are fairly boring, but I sense later today I'll have some fun. I need to hang new feeders in the greenhouse. I'm sure the introduction of a ladder and me climbing on it will certainly get some interest from the turkeys and the chickens.

They're rather extreme, aren't they. I let everyone out in the run [under supervision] & everyone complained like mad. I threw a barrow load of leaf litter in for their enjoyment & you'd've thought I'd hidden a bomb in there. Everyone thought the grass was greener on the wrong side of the fence. No matter they're responsible for the lack of grass in their run. Just when I'd reached the end of my tether with them, thinking what a bunch of ungrateful wretches I'd ended up with, they all lay down & burbled @ me contentedly.

They remind me of teenagers. Nothing is right or good enough. Except teenagers never give you any contentment. They are always dissatisfied.

I was calling my girls ingrates all day yesterday. They wanted more all day and we were definately snack heavy yesterday.

Mrs BY Bob burnt the hard boiled eggs so I was feeding them eggs all day. By the end of the day they either wanted just the white or just the yolk. I was always out of what they wanted.

Perhaps I just have a knack for acquiring nutty birds? I have a lot of teenagers @ present, which isn't helping. I'm sure the sight of their personal bucket boy on a ladder in their hen house will generate a lot of interested comment.
