Oh. Wow. Beautiful cat.
They are pretty cruisey, Bob. And in all honesty they don't require the sort of knowledge & equipment to start up as honybees do so they are much easier for newbies to work with. That was pretty amazing. It is very different working with bees that can`t sting you. The whole time I kept expecting him to be attacked.![]()
They are very pretty when in flower. Do the hens eat the fruit or do you harvest & use it? I believe you can make fake port wine from the sloes ~ & gin! It's been warm and sunny here today. I trimmed most of the lower branches at the bottom of the blackthorn bush and Tribe 1 seem pleased with the result. I think Tap had a nest down that bank somewhere. It's a nightmare job trying to weed the bank but it's going to have to be done and soon.

Yeah, there's some embarrassing bloopers with all this live streaming.Good morning folks
Jeannie, Sue just found a hilarious FB post about the "new" homeschooling.... It's a cartoon, little girl walks into the bathroom just as mom walks out of the shower and asks, "Mom, How do I turn off the live video for my class?" Of course the camera is pointed at mom.
Since home schooling/video schooling has become a thing, we've had to educate our workforce... Many who worked from home before, but now both parents are working from home, kids are going to school from home and that all seems to workout fine. BUT, when the kids get out of school, they immediately go to online gaming and suddenly the parents can no longer take a call over the router. Going back to our generation... When the kids are out of school, kick them out of the house to do outside things kids do, if they even know what that is.
@Shadrach they are gorgeous. I love the one with the twist and you showed the chunk of wood it came from. Just beautiful. They are gorgeous Shad, you are very skilled!
I guess that makes some sense. Thanks. What I think, Bob, & I really don't know for sure, is shipping practices. Our first hive they used cotton gauze to plug the entrances & the propolis was left intact. It was also a fairly young hive. This time sticky tape was wrapped round the hive & over the entrance. I imagine it was easier to wrap without a whole heap of propolis in the way & the stuff gets harvested & sold on to other beekeepers starting up hives. Thems my thinks anyway.
It truly is.I love
