I can't call her nutter! Every time I called that name half the chickens here would turn up.

Can't say why, she looks like a Tracey to me.

I'm going to call her Tack. She's got that polish style head do which is fairly flat on top. She's got a sister called Rivit......that will do me.

Such a funny chickie.
She has a little questing sound she makes when she wants me to notice her & she is not adverse to a little handling.
She is always very interested in whatever is going on & always looks like she is all agog about something.

It was filled almost to the brim with the intention of planting in it.

Beatha, who is having another bad hair day.
She is my only really consistent layer just now.
Most of my flock is molting & the rest haven't come on the lay yet.

I may, however, have my Wyandottes on the lay.
There have been some small brown eggs in the nesting boxes recently. Though Alpia is the only one I have seen in there, Wrold has had a beautiful bright red face & comb for some time now. They are about Araucana size. All my other brown layers lay a pretty big egg.
