If I am very quiet & sneaky I can stroke their backs while they are busy feeding. The Look when they realise what is happening!!!!

I always feel my chooks have an aesthetic appreciation for their surroundings.

Ouch those spurs I've been hit by spurs like that and it doesn't feel good at all ! You have such pretty birds

Thanks, Sue. I do think they are pretty but they are also very spoilt & very naughty! The spurs are getting to be a bit of a worry given how closely they roost ~ & of course it would be the Campines growing them!
