Oh that's good news! Next time she has a bad day, I'm going to remember how well she can bounce back.Good morning folks
Today was a good day. Sue was awake and alert when I arrived. She took about an hour nap and then spent the rest of the day awake, alert and talkative. She will no longer allow me to hold her cup for her to drink, she'll hold it and manages it well. She still has her headache but she seems to be getting used to it and it not bothering her so much. She's regained full movement of her right arm and there's no droop to her face.
ETA: They did restart formula feeding her as she's not eating enough, but she's doing better every day and we're working with the kitchen so they don't send things she won't eat. She's terrified of choking so she chews everything forever. It takes about an hour and a half for her to eat a meal.
TIAs are insignificant because the T stands for temporary. No damage is done because they are temporary. Mrs BYBob had TIAs after her big stroke.
Do they have her blood pressure under control? I am assuming they do.
Bob has warned me that this is a roller coaster ride, I'm not certain I'm ready for it, but I don't really get a vote.Oh that's good news! Next time she has a bad day, I'm going to remember how well she can bounce back.
Such a hard time for you. I'm confident you'll weather the storm, but it'll be hard going. You've got quite deep emotional resources, I think. You might have to dig deep, but you'll be ok. And Sue couldn't get better medical support, I'm sure.Bob has warned me that this is a roller coaster ride, I'm not certain I'm ready for it, but I don't really get a vote.
All true, thanks.Such a hard time for you. I'm confident you'll weather the storm, but it'll be hard going. You've got quite deep emotional resources, I think. You might have to dig deep, but you'll be ok. And Sue couldn't get better medical support, I'm sure.

Good morning all!! I'm slowly getting caught up with all the threads again, buy does that take time. LOL
Last night I picked up my new to me SUV. I'm so excited to have it! Now we can fit all 3 kids and both dogs in one car. It was a friend's car that she didn't need anymore.

Last night I was sitting outside relaxing after dark and Scooby pays me a visit. He drops something at my feet, now it's dark no lights on and all I see is a bit of white. I picked it up thinking it was a toy, it was not a toy, it was a fledgling Blue Jay!!
I run into the house with it, thinking it's going to be tore up and I'll need to try and save it. Nope! Not a feather out of place, not a scrape on him. I think Scooby found it and thought it was one of the chicks and brought it to me.
We have several pairs of Blue Jays in our trees so I'm sure it's one of theirs. I put him in my hanging basket by the basement door so his folks will find him. The parents feed in my back yard, so I'm sure they'll see him. I checked on him this morning and he was just perfect!!

I was on a video call with Anna and the only way to take his picture at that time was by screenshot.
Good boy Scooby! I thought he must be a retriever.Even more impressive is Scooby is one of my cats! He's a good hunter too, not 1 mouse in my coop or fed room.
