Poor Suyin. What a horrific experience.:p
I felt for her but she was wonderful about it. All the chickens seem to understand they are little people & have been very tolerant ~ especially of the littlest. Not so the cats, who have been terrified & in hiding for 3 days. Oldest GC has an awful habit of screeching suddenly & thundering through the house so we have been talking A LOT about being quiet & gentle around the animals.

When my husband's nephew was about two or three he was the same. Very shrieky and noisy.

Well one day my German Shepherd dog had enough. Have you ever seen what a mama dog does to her puppies when they get too noisy or push her too far? The mama will put her mouth over the puppy's muzzle and hold them for a moment and the puppy quiets down.

My girl had never had puppies but she knew what to do to get some peace! She put her mouth over his face. It worked! 😆 He had a little scrape on his nose from one of her teeth going past but not another mark on him.
