Ribh's D'Coopage

I'm all good with slowing down for little helpers, being talked to death, the inevitable accidents & breakages but I don't do well with being argued with constantly. It is very wearing & it takes ages to get anything done. Once he learns I don't play we won't have the issues. :D
He might take 18 years learning that. :( My son is nine and he argues the toss over everything. He’ll argue with me about music and I’m a music teacher! :he
Yep, my youngest is 22 and I still occasionally feel patronised. :smack
Maybe I'm just sensitive.

At least they are willing to listen to reason and "debate" rather than argue all the time.

Sadly too true ~ I have a couple like that. 🙄 A couple of mine are very Black&White thinkers. I don't bother as there is no room for debate ~ & silly me taught them to debate.:lau

My girls always look prettier when they are foraging free range.

While grass is a pain to maintain, it does make a beautiful backdrop for a chicken. 😁
Yes. I have strong views about grass in this country & if there weren't big dogs roaming free I'd give my girls some time in the vacant paddock across the road but they do so I don't. And they do love foraging in the deep litter that is everywhere in our yard so what they miss out on in one instance they get in another. :) They just don't look quite so pretty as if posed against a beautiful lush green.

Absolutely. Scratching through leaf litter is much more interesting. Mine start off grazing but soon move to the garden beds and throw the mulch everywhere!

It's a pity that dogs are allowed to run loose there. That's one of my pet peeves :rant.

Perhaps you could take the girls across to the paddock one at a time for a photo opportunity!
"I'm ready for my close-up Mr DeMille" 😉🤣
