So much tidier and organized than us. Interesting. You use the metric system too. Such a finely structured society.

I still know people who call a 5 cent piece a sixpence. It was chaotic when they brought the metric system in.

Ok, wait for it. You remember all those early conversations about similarities? Well, here's another. This could be a picture of my mother. She's 5' nothing & tiny. ALL her grandchildren tower over her. Strong in body & mind too.

I find that humorous. It's also the kind of thing I've been known to do but frankly I also can't remember if I did or not and would not want to take credit for someone else.

As I said earlier, the best part is that she has so many friends that she can't figure it out. I think that says it all.

Our financial year ends on 30th June. When I lived in the UK, I thought it was bizarre that their financial year ends on 5th April. I know there’s a reason for that date, I just can’t remember what it is.

Alex, I once mistakenly signed up for a class AEST time.... I hadn't had my coffee yet and I totally missed the A... But yea the course started a little after midnight my time and was an 8 hour class. I should have thought about the fact that the company offering the class is Australian.
