She's a beautiful hen

She's a strange one but I've grown very fond of her. She's very prone to Scaly Leg Mite much like her brother Mag.

Does anyone have any creative ways to administer antibiotics to a rooster? (I think Jaffar is tired of soldier fly larva )??????? Suggestions appreciated!

Scrambled egg or chicken feed soaked in water to make a mash!

I know shadrach uses bread when he has to give medication. The few times the vet prescribed antibiotics for the hens, it went in their water or they were injected.

Yesterday the girls decided all the leaf litter looked better on our paths than in our garden.

So I raked it all up & shoved it in their coop.
I think they need a couple of days confinement to really appreciate what they have.

Yah sure. Lock em up for being chickens? All my walkways look just like that. The girls love to dig, and scratch.
