This past weekend Rich and I took a trip out to Western Pennsylvania, specifically a town called Benezette. The town is situated in the mountains and is known for its Elk herds.

We were lucky enough to catch the beautiful Fall leaves and a few Elk. I'll post the pictures in thumbnails! Enjoy!!!

We'd come up on some pretty trees and Rich would say "do you want me to stop so you can take pictures for your chicken friends?" LOL He knows me so well!

Waiting for the rain and it arrived after they had gone to roost luckily, but as usual I got caught out in it when closing up. Hail, thinder and lightning would you beleive.

The thing with my OD is she's very much a B&W thinker & she likes to debate. She wanted to use it to throw a spanner in the tutorial debates. I don't mind if it gets everyone thinking outside their box. Luckily she's used to me. When she was about 10 or so she was having a meltdown about something she couldn't have & I lost it. I'm not the most patient woman around. I told her so far as I was concerned no~one living in a 1st world country had cause to complain ever. They shoot children in Brazil. She didn't believe me so she looked it up. She's careful when she takes me on these days.

LOL - My dad used to say he forgot more than I knew (when I was young)! History is written by the victors and they often leave out the "Less noble" things they did.
