I'm surprised. It's been in use for over 100 years. My mother always had some in our first aide kit & it lasts forever. You need very little for it to be effective.

I won't open a whole discussion on oysters but I will say I started out hating them, now I love them. I had to learn it and it was worth the effort!

Nearly everyone I know loves the stuff & can't understand me @ all ~ especially as I could get as much as I wanted for the cost of some bait.

It took me at least 25 years to be willing to try sushi but now I can't get enough. Raw oysters are amazing.

The Hershey hotel used to do a brunch with an unlimited raw bar that was amazing. This was pre COVID of course
