Ribh's D'Coopage

So adorable. πŸ₯°
They are ~ but they are a bit out of control just now. They have got very demanding. They know if the noise exceeds a certain level I'll arrive to check all is well ~ so they up the anti when they want me. :gig Last night they thought I was too slow in coming to tuck them in for the night so they upped the noise level. It wasn't ugly. They weren't squabbling. They were just very loud. I arrived & everyone promptly subsided into sleepy burblings & hunkered down on their roost. πŸ™„ They make no noise when they want out of their run! πŸ˜–

Soda is the biggest girl in my flock. Not quite as fluffy as Lavender but she's right up there in the hefty meat department. If Lavender or Soda is in a nesting box there really isn't room in there for anyone else.

Or so one would think.

Morrigu thought otherwise.
That is one insane hen.
She is the smallest of my silver Campines ~ not much bigger than a bantam really~ & this crazy bird decided she wanted to lay in the box Soda was amply occupying. Nothing deterred by Soda's ample rump, I caught Morrigu scrabbling in underneath her in order to lay her egg. As chooks stand to lay I have no idea how she actually accomplished this but her egg was certainly there when I went fishing. :idunno:confused:

I had Lasik surgery seven years ago, (I was near-sighted, blind as a bat).
i just recently had to get glasses because my left eye changed again and it was annoying when driving.
So I guess seven years was a good run, lol.
But of course, it’s nothing as bad as originally before the Lasik.
I am too much of a coward for Lasik - and I have worn glasses more or less my whole life so it doesn't seem like a big issue to me most of the time. But I am very glad it worked for you.
