RIP Mhari.
She was fine yesterday morning, dead by night.
I have no idea.
I am distraught & ready to give up. She was such a lovely little henny.

I don't know. I found her unable to stand & brought her inside hoping she'd make it to the vet this morning. She didn't make it. I really feel I've let her down.

I really doubt you let her down. I know it feels that way but I am sure you cared for her well and it sounds like it was very fast and there was nothing you could have done.
I am so sorry. She was a beautiful hen and that is a lovely picture to remember her by.

Good morning! It took me a bit to catch up early this morning! We were helping our son move, then had to get some winterizing done, so I was a bit behind!
I took this picture the other day when we headed to his place! We were just pulling out of our driveway & I noticed how cool the clouds looked. You can also see what the landscape is like beyond our yard...sand, sagebrush, tumbleweeds & rocks! The river is below the hills, but you can't see it!

The landscape reminds me of the open heath land near where I live. If this is what your property looked like before your plantings and soil improvement that is an amazing contrast!
It's mind boggling how one can make microclimates with thoughtful planting.

On the bright side, my hinges are okay, it's the lenses that are failing.

O No! I'm so sorry. You poor dear.

I'm so very sad for you! She was a beautiful girl...sometimes you just don't know what's going on with your pets! Don't despair & give up...you give your girls amazing care & you still have some beautiful girls that need you!

You didn't let her down!
