Fun fact: Apparently the original Orpingtons were also prodigious layers of around 320 eggs per year. That is leghorn like!

Fortunately they were refined for other characteristics. Can you imagine a 12 lb bird that laid 320 eggs per year. True multipurpose chicken. I am amazed they breed that away but they would be very expensive layers on the feed side.

When I was a kid in school, this used to happen to me. I figured out the answers but couldn’t explain why, and my teachers would be very annoyed and critical, to say the least. I have dyslexia although I could always read and write, don’t ask me why, and I pretty much always felt “dumb” in school.
Especially in math.

Epic failure by your teachers. No student should ever feel that way. That makes me very sad for you. ☹

And why did it have to be a cat? Sciences uses rats for everything else. Its only 1 letter too. As a cat lover I have always been offended by his choice.
