"wild" water is ALWAYS better. My dogs and cats do the same thing. The cats even have the option of fresh from the tap water, but NOOOOO, they have to drink out of the puddle in the driveway.

Yep ~ though pond water full of water lilies, leaf litter & crud is good too.

Here are my two biggest bullies, neither can hold a candle to Aurora or Tsuki... the white one my “Bully girl” (yes, that’s her name) thinks I am her rooster, but will occasionally let Sammy step in for rooster duties the big food bringer can’t perform. The Black girl is a pecker, and will knock little off at roosting time.

Bully girl was literally pecking my hand and trying to tear chunks off. “Treats! This is the hand that gives treats... where are they? I will bite it until I get something tasty!”
