I thought I had a picture of one on my phone that I took this summer, but I couldn't find it...maybe if I didn't have over 1600 pictures it would have been easier...lol! So I looked it up and learned what it's real name is...it's called a Great Basin Spadefoot...who knew...my husband called them a sand toad and so did I and my children!

They spend months living underground. Here's a link to the article that I found and a picture, they are very fat and squishy!
