Ribh's D'Coopage

I do hope the little ones find their place without too much bullying.

I think they're going to be fine, Shad, really I do. The big girls are pretty much ignoring the Littlies & the smallest ones are so tiny they go & hide from the bigger girls. There have been no dominance shows so far ~ That is all likely to change when I go for full integration & move the littlies into the big coop, of course, but the bigs seem to get that these girls are still babies & are giving them a lot of leeway so far. The littlies aren't a pushy lot either which no doubt helps.

Yay! It's going really well!

I've found the more integrations you do, the easier it is, at least with my birds.

I hope Bob has it right and it's a fracture rather than a break. Havig broken a few bones now you have my sympathy. Get well soon.:hugs

The ER said a fracture so until I go Thursday and see the orthopedic doctor that's what we are going with. All I know is, it hurts waY too much 😢. Thanks for the hugs 🤗🤗.

Ouch! Are you right handed? Did the folks at the hospital take a look at your knee? You don't want it collapsing again and causing more falls.

Yep, right handed so I can still type and all that. No they didn't look at my knee, they focused on my head and wrist. My head because of the stroke and the wrist of course from the fall.

Today I am feeling all the other hurts and the ones I told them about. I am using the walker again, because I am so unstable on my feet right now.

How did the eggs do? ;)

Your not going to believe it, but somehow I sat them down on a step before or as I fell

Thanks everyone for the hugs and get well thoughts 🤗🤗

Probably true. It helps knowing what to expect, what's normal & relaxing. The birds seem to follow your lead more too & having older birds who have done this before also helps ~ imo. But what do I know?

If you're seeing the orthopedic specialist on Thursday, can you ask them about your knee collapse? I'm worried about it happening again.

I think you're right, when the older birds trust you, the younger ones follow their lead.
