Taz is having an episode of the crazies tonight!!

Her last moult was at the beginning of April last year so it's been almost 10 months. Her feathers are looking grubby and tatty so it's not a bad thing. She also seems to be losing them in layers so hopefully she won't go completely bald this time!
Let's hope this time is even just a little slower for her. Poor Baby.

She is absolutely adorable. 🥰
@BY Bob thought I'd get one or 2 really special ones in this lot & it looks like he was right.
Desdemona & Olivia both always come & say hello when I appear but all this lot appear to think I'm their safe place. If I'm in the coop they know I'll make sure they get their food & water & help sorting out the roosting.

This is how they ended up tonight. Everyone opted for the 2nd roost despite the nasty
peckers being @ the wrong end on the top roost tonight.

Desdemona ended up on the outside but she was very calm about it. The other Littlies got the wall & the Big 3 were all together.

This is going along splendidly. What have you done with the feed situation?

They really are. It's sorta a shock though to actually be able to catch & handle these girls so easily. :lau I'm used to skittish Campines & all my Big Girls, while friendly, are more stand~offish.
A large part of being able to handle them is because you got them so small. Its much easier if you start with younger hens. That's what I was trying to tell you when you got them. You have been a part of a much more important time in their development. You are not so scary as a result.
