Ribh's D'Coopage

I once had an entire winter like that. I went into the hospital before the sun came up and left after the sun was down. I got pretty squirrelly by the time spring arrived. Not to mention pale. That was a lot of fluorescent light.
That's what Dale dealt with every winter for at least 25 of the 35 years he worked at his dam job...lol! It's very hard on a person, actually depressing...he was definitely ready for spring every year. Thankfully he worked 4/10's during that time & that gave him 3 day weekends!

My husband didn't like going to work in the dark, but he preferred having more daylight at the end of his 10 hour work day. Working down inside the dam all day, with a few trips topside per day was just not enough. A lot of days he went to work in the dark & came home after dark. I just wish they'd leave it one way or another.
I always say that. I wish they would just leave it at daylight savings time permanently because who doesn’t like it to be lighter for longer in the day?
