Oh no. I hope someone saved Daisy. Some snake might try and eat her.

I've got to watch her. She's a favourite & ends up some very strange places.

I used to use a small baggie and wet paper towel, fold beans inside and watch grow. Same idea as the cup, but I was at work so we hung them on our window.

We used carnations for the food color activity. You can also do this with celery.



This is so fun, but make sure your outside and nobody is close to it !

Does someone have a link for the mentos rockets? This sounds like super fun & something the kids would love but I've never heard of it let alone done it.

There's been a Covid outbreak in Brisbane near Ribh.

Yep. Unvaccinated health workers & they've got the nasty English strain. They've shut down the whole of the greater Brisbane area, which includes us. It probably won't really impact us but it's a pain just the same.

I wonder if it's a Marans temperament thing rather than a physical similarity?

The Marans here have had quite a variation in temperament so I don't believe that's it although I could be wrong. I think there is something they know that enables them to work out, more like me, or less like me. I don't know if it's just looks but for some unknown reason I doubt it.
Looks definitely play a part but how some of this lot can work out who they are related to by looks would have me guessing given the variations.
