Hopefully the rain won't cause any problemsI finally got everyone in the coop hale & healthy & we have a week of storms & rain pounding us.Thanks for asking. I hope your girls are all doing well too.
The Littles are doing really well & free ranging with everyone else now but it will be a while yet before they are big enough for the Big Coop.
Awww.... Bob. I’m so very sorry to hear it’s time for your dead old friend. My heart goes out to you (choking up as I type this). Hugs, my friend.I promised to update everyone. The time has come for my poor Isabel. I just called to start the arrangements. She is laying in front of the TV. When I went to check on her, Éowyn came with me and groomed her head. It was so sweet and something Isabel would never allow.
I say this so if you notice my mood to be off or that I'm missing, this is why.
She has had a glorious 17.5 years. I cry for me, not for her. But none the less I am already grieving.
I will make certain Davis and Éowyn get to see her afterwards and I am planning to bury her next to her best friend, Pungie, our dog.
My sweet old lady.

So sorry Bob. 17 years is a long time. My mother had a cat live to 22. She needed to be put to rest sooner, but my mom just couldn't do it. Finally one day I walked into her house and saw this poor cat come out of a room...looking so bad! She was blind and deaf by then. When I saw her I cried out loud ..mom! She says...I Know, I know! I took her in for her. The vet said she probably had cancer through out her body because she just cried out in pain when you picked her up. This kitty needed some peace. There has to be a cat heaven. And dog heaven, and chicken heaven.........I promised to update everyone. The time has come for my poor Isabel. I just called to start the arrangements. She is laying in front of the TV. When I went to check on her, Éowyn came with me and groomed her head. It was so sweet and something Isabel would never allow.

All the hugs Bob, she was a lovely old girl. I'm sure your whole family has many stories about her.The arrangements are all made. It will be tomorrow. We get one more night together. My oldest is driving 4.5 hours to say goodbye to her. I took the afternoon off. We will celebrate her life.
