Sending get well wishes andWell, whatever you do folks, don't have a hospital emergency during Covid. The man took a tumble in the wet yesterday & opened up old spinal fractures & the ambos took him off the island about lunch time. About 4pm I tried ringing the hospital. No record of him so I tried the 2 big city ones. Nope. About 7pm he was admitted into emergency but it was another several hours before he's been scanned, exrayed, medicated & put into a short stay bed. He said the ambos were waiting 12 deep because covid restrictions meant they had to wait till someone left before anyone else could be admitted ~ roughly 1 every hour or so. Insanity. One of my lads picked him up this morning & put him on a boat home, tired & sore but relatively unscathed.
Those are very pretty
Haha I love the cold. If I had the choice I would live either up the blue mountains or down the snowy mountains (that’s where I plan on moving to)Single figures is getting a little too cold for me. It's why I live so far north.![]()
Thanks. They’ll love to hear that, Polly is definitely the loudest hen I have.Very pretty!
Sure I will see what other images I can find:Do you need to ask? Yes please!
Thank you!Those are very pretty![]()
There are so many parts of that which are unacceptable. No one should "disappear" when taken by ambulance. Imagine if it was a life threatening heart attack and you could not find out if he was alive or dead.Well, whatever you do folks, don't have a hospital emergency during Covid. That is very good news!Yep. He's not the most patient of men either...well, I don't know too many patient men. They're a rare breed I think.Just grateful he doesn't seem to have done any real damage this time.
Beautiful birds. How old are they? I was expecting chicks!
So fliers then!Haha I just found one (Polly) sitting really high in the tree
Handsome fellow he is!This is my cockerel. He’s sort of “training” to be the leader but the old rooster doesn’t bother him and vice versa. I reckon eventually he will take over but the other rooster doesn’t seem to care if he is mating with some of the hens.
