He did, MJ. It could have been a lot, lot worse He's sore of course & there is a lot of bruising but all things considered he got off lightly.Sounds like he might've been quite badly hurt and, waiting aside, maybe he got off lucky?
The Blue Mountains are very pretty, I agree. Lots of lovely little spots tucked away up there.Haha I love the cold. If I had the choice I would live either up the blue mountains or down the snowy mountains (that’s where I plan on moving to)
Unfortunately our local hospital is rather small & understaffed. Losing patients temporarily is fairly common ~ which is why I waited over 4 hours before trying for an update ~ & even that was too soon. My views on Covid are not the commonly held ones so I very much agree that keeping loved ones apart when love & support are most needed is cruel. There are so many parts of that which are unacceptable. No one should "disappear" when taken by ambulance. Imagine if it was a life threatening heart attack and you could not find out if he was alive or dead.
I'm afraid that in all our response to COVID the healthcare system has forgotten the humanity involved.
Just ask yourself how many people lost their will to live in an ICU on a ventilator for weeks not ever seeing any loved ones, only exhausted healthcare workers who have no time.
Someone once asked me if I would rather die being eaten by an alligator or in an ICU bed with COVID. I choose the gator. The thought of slowly dying not being able to breathe without any loved ones nearby is too terrible for me to imagine. Hour after hour alone.
I'm sorry for my soap box.

The two of them are playing so well. They thunder down the hallway. The only problem is Éowyn always wants to play and Davis is not always in the mood. She is always poking him!

Just the same, she is one very lucky Puss!Marigold will hiss at her, but that's it. All the boys will eat right along with her. She's not even scared of the dogs!
Rex was getting up close and personal in her back end and she turned around and swiped him right in the nose!
I believe I saw this cat back in early spring. It was a passing glance. About that time I noticed an old Tom cat passing through. I have a sneaky suspicion that he is the daddy to her kittens. If she has orange kittens, I'll know.
Josh has started to go outside. Ever since his pants grew in and the weather got nice he's been spending the days outside in the yard. I'm pretty sure he's been hanging out with her. She certainly did not just appear, the animals are much too comfortable with each other.
