She seems to be fine. I will try & grab her in the morning & have another look. She was active, foraging, eating, drinking today so...

I will take that news. This has still shocked me. I can't quite get over a tongue injury. It just seems crazy to me.

It’s been unbelievably windy here today. Not as windy as it used to get at my old house but almost which is pretty bad for here. Another four weeks of lockdown….great….

I have had some nasty grass cuts. Cut myself pulling grass without gloves just a few weeks ago, and it wasn't even one of the flat sharp pieces! We have razor type grasses too, that's why I was digging most of my "lawn" out. It was all clumps of spikey sharp grass.

Oh my gosh. My first thought was "Why would anyone protest my chicken?" I mean look at her.

I need therapy.

Our grass is soft, weak, and friendly here.

Me too. I'm still in shock. So much blood & horrible noises coming out of my chicken. And I still don't know what caused it. This used to be farm land & all sorts of junk turns up on occasion but I've scoured the run & no idea. I guess a stick could have caused a mouth injury.
