I'm very lucky with this yard. It's nice & large enough to accommodate everyone & the chickens like it. They do spend a lot of time on the back porch. I'm wondering if they all feel a little insecure & that's why Olivia keeps bolting inside. She managed it again tonight & she is the chicken I keep finding in a crab pot.

It is a good thing though that when they feel insecure they want to be close to you. They trust you.

Noodle hissed at her the day it was done. I think she's realized now that it is Belle.
She looks rather like a snow bunny with furry boots, mittens and hat. Just needs a bikini....

I have a new layer.
I'm really hoping it's not Shuri because if that's a standard Wyandotte egg we are in real trouble. I thought all my bantams were laying so I'm not sure who is responsible for that tiny specimen.

Pretty sure that's the smallest chicken egg I ever saw
